08.19.2005: Female Warrior (nudity) (3 hours, Corel Painter) I did this really really late last night. It took a few tries, as I hadn't painted much lately. I'm happy with the way it turned out. [back to top]

08.19.2005: Tom Waits (2 hours, Corel Painter, Adobe Photoshop) I'm a huge Tom Waits fan, so when looking for something to draw for portrait practice late at night, this was kind of a no-brainer. [back to top]

08.19.2005: Pilot Guy (30 minutes, Pen and Marker) I'm still itching to do a sci-fi war story. This guy would be flying a killer assult ship, much like an A-10 Tank Killer. [back to top]

08.19.2005: The Jester (30 minutes, Pen) The Jester was a character created by a high school friend of mine. Think "psychopath cajun voodoo guy" and you pretty much get the picture. [back to top]

08.19.2005: Lizard Head (10 minutes, Pen) I was bored on a smoke break and drew a lizard head. Not a T-Rex, just a T-Rex-like lizard. Nothing more interesting to tell you than that. [back to top]

08.19.2005: The Kidney Beandito (1.5 hours, Pen) Lee Shields asked me to do this for a friend's birthday party t-shirt. Yeah, they made t-shirts for his birthday party. I really don't remember why this guy was a Mexican kidney bean, but oh well. [back to top]

08.19.2005: Samurai Dog (1 hour, Pen, Adobe Photoshop) This dog was created at the Austin Sketch Group after I saw the kickass ninja dog that my buddy and colleague Jason Tiefenauer drew. That ninja dog needed an arch-foe and I figured this guy would give him a run for his money. [back to top]

08.19.2005: Butt-Sucking Vampire (1.5 hours, Pen) Some people are shocked when they go through my sketchbook. You see, sometimes I draw these cool looking characters and completely ruin their impact by making them say the dumbest things... Like this guy. [back to top]
